We have the opportunity to meet regularly with other brothers and sisters to pray for the worldwide church curretly suffering persecution. Often we share video testimonies of the saints who undergo almost daily tribulation for their faith. Recent projects have included the manufacture of paracutes for Columbia and the ongoing effort to write to prisoners to encourage them to remain faithful to Jesus. We are eminded of the powerful words Paul shares with us in Romans 8:26 - 27,

"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit interceds for the saints in accordance with God's will."

Similarly Hebrews 13:3 exhorts us to remain faithful in prayer:

"Remember those in prison as if you were  their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering."
