Church Property

Church Merger!

On June 29th the Apache Junction Baptist Church voted unanimously to merge with Calvary Chapel of East Mesa (thats our legal Corporation name). Since then we have been going through the legal process of carrying out that decision.

The law firm of Ridenour, Hienton & Lewis advised and represented us in this matter. We filled out all the required legal documents and sent them to the Arizona Corporation Commission for acceptance. They were accepted and filed as of August 6th, and then a Certified copy was sent to the Pinal County Recorders office to be recorded there. Those documents were recorded September 3rd concluding the legal process of the merge. According to the legalese in the documents we are the "surviving" corporation of the merger and acquire all assets and debts of the non-surviving corporation.

So what this means is we have been given the continued stewardship of this property. What a gift and what a responsibility! As before, this remains the Lords property and we will endeavor to use it to both spread the Gospel and equip the saints for the work of the ministry. We obviously look to Jesus as the head of the Church and trust in the work of the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and empower the ministry. We are excited to see what the Lord will be doing here in Apache Junction through his people at Calvary Chapel.

We are currently in the process of seeking financing in order to purchase Pastor Gregs property. We ask for prayers concerning this venture for God's leading, guiding, favor and provision. We will keep you informed as we have opportunity.

Praise the Lord!!! We plan to occupy till He comes. Amen.

Psa 133:1,  Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! (KJV)
