Our Women's Ministry Mission Statement
We are believing God at His Word. In today's world we are weary and heavy laden, so we must learn to come to Him for our rest.
Our desire at Calvary Chapel is finding our Hope and Rest in Him. This is done through learning who God is, His nature, and His attributes. As we come to know Him, we learn to trust Him in all things.
"And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." - Romans 8:28
We want each woman to know Jesus and to find their life in Him. We encourage studying the whole counsel of the Word of God. We encourage our women to study daily, to walk in His spirit and watch Him work. As the world is getting crazier, we want to be wise and spirit filled.
"...redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the spirit." - Ephesians 4:16-20

We desire that women fellowship together through bible study and have relationships where they can share, encourage, pray, and keep walking with the Lord. We see that relationship with Elizabeth and Mary as they spent time together talking and sharing their joys.
In Luke 1:39-56, Mary and Elizabeth discussed the Greatness of their God. And we have an example of the older women and younger women ministering to each other. Elizabeth was honored at the visit and Mary was encouraged by Elizabeth.
"...the older women, likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanders, not given to much wine, teachers of good things" - Titus 2:3
